Please read this Disclaimer before using Digicalcy.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, its calculators or its articles, you accept the terms below. In this Disclaimer, "Digicalcy", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the Site and its operator.
For information only, not professional advice
Everything on Digicalcy, including our calculators, results, articles, examples and charts, is provided for general information and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site is tax, legal, accounting, investment, financial, mortgage or employment advice, and using the Site does not create a professional or client relationship of any kind.
Digicalcy is not a law firm, an accounting firm, a lender, a broker, an investment adviser or a financial institution. We do not recommend any particular financial product, lender, investment or course of action.
Before making a decision about your taxes, pay, mortgage, loans, investments or retirement, please talk to a qualified professional who can look at your full situation, such as a CPA, an enrolled agent, a registered investment adviser, a licensed mortgage professional or an attorney.
Calculator results are estimates
Our calculators give estimates based on the information you enter and on the rules and assumptions built into each calculator. Your actual figures can be different, for example because of:
- Your employer's payroll setup, your Form W-4 (and state withholding forms such as California's DE 4), pay timing, and how bonuses and other supplemental pay are withheld
- Income, deductions, credits or benefits you did not enter, or that a calculator does not cover
- Local taxes, special rules or situations that are not modeled
- The final terms set by a lender, card issuer or plan provider, such as interest rates, fees, insurance, taxes and closing costs
- Investment returns, inflation and interest rates, which change and cannot be predicted
- Rounding, and the accuracy of the information you enter
Paycheck and tax results show estimated withholding or tax for planning purposes. They are not a tax return, and they may not match the tax you finally owe or the refund you receive. Mortgage and loan results are not a loan offer, a quote, an approval or a guarantee of terms.
Accuracy and timeliness
We build our calculators and articles from official sources, such as the IRS, the Social Security Administration, the U.S. Department of Labor and state tax agencies, and we work to keep them current. However, tax laws, rates, limits and regulations change, sometimes during the year, and errors can happen. Where figures for a coming year have not yet been officially published, a calculator may use estimated values, and we say so where that applies.
We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness or suitability of any information, calculator or result on the Site. Always check important figures against official sources or with a professional. If you find an error, please let us know so we can fix it.
No liability
The Site and all of its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digicalcy and its operator will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site, its calculators, its results or its articles, including any decision you make based on them. You use the Site at your own risk.

Showing an ad does not mean we endorse or recommend the advertiser or its products. Advertisers have no influence on our calculators, results or articles.
